Feed safety and its impact on livestock productivity is the main highlight of Livestock Philippines 2013, the Philippines’s official livestock and feed expo, which opened its doors yesterday (7-9 August).
President Benigno S. Aquino III opened the show to more than 5,000 visitors and 200 exhibitors from 20 countries.
The expo has international pavilions attaching major stakeholders from Singapore, mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea and the UK. The focus is on the daily struggles of farmers in providing cost-efficient healthy feeds for their swine, poultry and ruminants.
