EnviroLogix Inc. has introduced a new fumonisin test, able to multiple matrices using water or a water-based buffer as an extraction method. According to the company this will eliminate the additional costs of purchasing and disposing of ethanol.

Fumonisins are a group of mycotoxins produced by fungi in the genus Fusarium. The new test* has an expanded matrix list that includes corn, corn flour, corn germ, corn germ meal, DDGS and sorghum.

Additionally, the new test is designed and calibrated to conform to GIPSA performance criteria. Its features include: water extraction, test results in 5 minutes, accurate quantification and traceability utilising the QuickScan System ()  affordable grain-quality management and industry-leading customer support.
