People: Antiox appoints new commercial director

Antiox has made two additions to its commercial team. Pieter Wolleswinkel has been appointed Commercial Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. And Alex Nascimento as Commercial Manager for Latin America.

Pieter Wolleswinkel

Wolleswinkel is a Dutch national with 10 years of industry experience. In recent years he has held senior product and business management roles. Having qualified as a veterinarian at Utrecht University in The Netherlands, he spent three years in practice before joining Provimi in 2007. Wolleswinkel became Regional Manager North East Europe for Provimi/Cargill Animal Nutrition EMEA in 2011, a role which he held until joining Anitox on 1 October 2013. He will divide his time between Anitox’s EMEA Region office at Earls Barton in England, and at customers and suppliers throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will have full responsibility for the company’s commercial and technical service teams in these regions

Alex Nascimento

Nascimento was born in Brazil and graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia in 1994, became an Intern Veterinarian at UNESP Campus Botucatu and started his commercial career in 1996 at Boehringer Ingelheim as a freelancer, then in 1997 joined Fort Dodge Saúde Animal Ltda in a technical role. He was invited to return to Boehringer Ingelheim do Brazil Ltda as a Technical Promoter in 1998 and three years later joined Vallée S.A. as Manager of Products Assembly – Supplies. Staying with the company, he was appointed Sales and Products Manager – Overseas Markets in 2003 and promoted to Export Manager two years later. He moved to Ouro Fino Animal Health as Mercosur Manager in 2008 and in 2010 joined Anitox in the role of Sales Manager for Central and South America Sales Manager. Nascimento holds an MBA in International Business Management and Overseas Trading, together with an MBA in Entrepreneurship Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas. He lives in Santos, close to Sao Paulo, speaks Portuguese, French, Spanish and English and is a qualified practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. He will take full responsibility for managing Anitox’s team in the Region, together with all business relationships with Distributors and Agents
