New feed additives range for Phytosynthese

07-08-2007 | |

Phytosynthese, European producer of natural plant extracts launches a new feed additive range, claimed to be more protective and waterproof.

By using a new technique, the company transforms
liquids (such as essential oils) into fine powder. The micro particles are
created in concentric spheres and therefore receive a protective and waterproof
structure. This makes the active ingredients well protected but will still be
easily released in the digestive system.

This technique is more efficient
than fat coatings, which have the disadvantage that active principles might
migrate through the coating and lost.

Phytosynthese will market this new range
of feed additives under the name ic@ps.
