In October 2013 Russia produced 20.7 thousand tonnes of protein and vitamin feed supplements, which is 2% less than in October last year, but by 3% more than in September of 2013 according to report of the Russian media Soya News Info.
During the first 10 months of 2013 the production of protein and vitamin feed supplements in Russia fell by 2% compared with the same period last year.
In addition to this, production of protein and vitamin feed supplements for poultry rapidly decreased. In October 2013, Russia produced 6.2 tonnes of protein and vitamin feed supplements for poultry – which is the minimum volume of production in the current year. It is 5% less than in September and 7% less than in October last year, said SoyaNews.
The production of protein and vitamin feed supplements for poultry decreased by 12% compared with the same period last year (see table for comparison).
