Vetionx to launch digestive enzyme for pets
Vetionx has scheduled development of a new pet product containing digestive enzymes. The product has yet to be named and the tentative launch date is the first week of August 2011.
“This is going to be a wonderful product for pet owners who are noticing digestive issues with their pets,” said Vetionx ‘Ask Our Vet’ Dr. Char Wilson.
“I see so many animal patients these days with digestive issues due to low-quality food, chronic health issues and other contributors. Owners are often limited to only a few options such as a bland diet to help the system get going again. This product can help bring the system back in balance.”

Dr. Wilson also pointed out the need for everyday supplementation for most pets as the production process of today’s pet foods often significantly destroy necessary digestive enzymes pets would normally get from eating in the wild.
