Franco Mussini, Technical Lead North America and Janet Remus, Senior Technical Director North America, both working at Danisco Animal Nutrition & Health, IFF, delve into the mitigation of a key antinutrient. Phytate is often present at higher levels then feed producers realize. However, this negative can be turned into a positive as a higher phytate level gives us more opportunity to take advantage of phytate phosphorus. Using phytase, producers are able to unlock the hidden value within the feed ingredients.
