Numerous production maintenance periods have been scheduled for the upcoming weeks and months, yet these announcements have yet to impact market dynamics. While contracts for Q1 are secured, there is currently a lack of significant interest for Q2.
The step-by-step price decline is still seen, although this week the price has been fairly stable. New capacity ex China is on the way but that might still take some time before that is all approved and shipped. For now, a stable to slightly weaker trend is expected for the coming period. Q1 is contracted, Q2 mostly open still.

A significant portion of the first quarter’s supply is already contracted.
In Europe, recent supply chain tightness among Western manufacturers had caused delivery delays and slight price increases, but that seems to have improved now. Other regions report good availability and mostly stable prices, with no significant changes anticipated and most contracts for the first quarter already secured.
