World Ag forum names new president

The World Agricultural Forum (WAF) appointed Raymond M. Cesca as President bringing more than 20 years of experience in the agribusiness industry. In his capacity as president, Cesca will work to bring the organization’s vision to fruition.

Previously, Cesca served as the Managing Director of
McDonald’s World Trade, where he was responsible for reducing or eliminating
McDonald’s trade barriers in the118 countries, in which the company does
business. He was also responsible for Global Purchasing for McDonald’s.

Cesca will serve as president of the World Agricultural Forum while also
serving as President and CEO of Global Alliance for Economic Advancement (GAEÁ),
a market development, trade and strategic planning organization that promotes
the development of small to medium-sized enterprises in the support of economic
advancement in developing countries. His work will also continue as Chairman of
the Agribusiness and World Markets Committee for the Pacific Basin Economic
Council.
