Kiwa appointed as approved certification body for FAMI-QS
Kiwa PAI, the audit and certification company for the food and feed industries has been appointed as an approved certification body for the new FAMI-QS scheme.
In development since 2004, FAMI-QS is an international certification scheme operating in 47 countries. It is the first system designed to ensure the quality, safety and compliance of specialty feed ingredients such as feed additives, functional feed and their pre-mixtures as well as specialty complementary feed and specialty complementary dietetic feed.
Kiwa PAI is already well known for its expertise in the agricultural supplies sector, managing the FEMAS, UFAS, TASCC, FIAS and ESTA certification schemes for the AIC.
