10-10-2007 | |

Swedisch cooperative feed and food firm Lantmännen has increased its share in German partner HaGe in Kiel from 5 to 20% reports Dutch agricultural daily AgD.

By doing so Lantmännen tightens its bond with DLG, the largest grains and
feed company in Denmark. DLG increased it share in HaGe in August from 38 to
60%.

HaGe is the second largest grains and compound feed trader and
manufacturer in Germany with a turnover of €1.1 million in
2006.

Lantmännen is by far the largest feed cooperative in Sweden with an
annual turnover of €3.5 billion. It is owned by 40,000 Swedish
farmers.
