Muyang is to build a new feed machinery manufacturing base in Yangzhou, China with a capacity of 333,336 m2 (33.3 ha).
The new facility will be for Muyang’s feed machinery business, including a large production workshop cluster, an office building, an innovative R&D lab and a testing center.
Muyang Steel Structure Company, a subsidiary of Muyang Group, is in charge of the whole designing and building works of the new base.
It is estimated to be put into operation at the end of 2012.
Many newly purchased large-scale numerical control machines, welding robots, state-of-the–art moving production lines for machine assembly, coating and painting will be installed for the modernization and standardization of production processes.
According to Muyang the new facility will be technically as well as functionally it the most modern feed machinery manufacturing base in the world.
Enhanced productivity
Besides the new base, a productivity enhancement program is being implemented in the steel structure fabricating workshop of Muyang Steel Structure Division.
The layout of production lines is redesigned and new manufacturing machines are added to smooth the production and to improve product quality, so that they can comply with AISC standard. The purpose of this move is to increase its international growth of business.
The future
Muyang is also planning to build four to five overseas manufacturing bases in the near future.
