New website feeds US horse farmers
HorseQuest is a new addition to www.extension.org that links equine specialists, researchers, extension agents and professors from across the US with horse farmers.
“Not every state has, in this case, a horse specialist,” said Ashley Griffin,
the executive co-chairman for HorseQuest. “We are helping provide resources to
states that don’t necessarily have them.”
The web page, www.extension.org/horses, has a Frequently Asked
Questions section where experts from around the country respond to queries
within 48 hours, a forum for online chat sessions, a calendar of horse-related
events happening across the country and expert vetted lessons on topics such as
feed and reproduction.
