Russia produced 1903 thousand tonnes of feed in August 2014 – which is 0.3% higher than in the previous month, and 6.4% more than August last year.
Feed production in Russia during the first eight months of 2014 rose compared to the same period of 2013 by 6.5%, reported the Russian media Soya News quoting the official statistic data.
Russia increased the production of feed every month, and as a result it is predicted that by the end of the year, the country will be able to produce about 23 million tonnes of compound feed, which will be 8% higher than 2013.
