Russian feed premixes production grew by 60% in 2011

Production of compound feed and feed products (premixes and concentrates) in Russia are growing steadily.

Said Vladimir Manaenkov, head of the department of livestock feed and breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, speaking at the conference "Mixed feeds and premixes 2011", reported the correspondent of news agency SoyaNews.
 
Indeed, the feed production in Russia increased  by nearly 1 million tons per year. 
 
According to the forecast of Manaenkov, in the 2012 production rate in the country will account for 17.7 million tons of feed, in 2011 it was 17 million tons.
 
According to the calculations of the Russian association of producers of feed, by 2013 production of feed relative to 2009 will have increased by 20.4%, protein-vitamin-mineral concentrates by 46.7%, premixes by 56.9%.
 
In 2011 the country produced 115,356 tons of premixes, which is 1.6 times higher than 2010 levels.
 
Noteworthy is that the production of premixes in Russia in December 2011 set the production record for the last two years. 
 
The industry shows steady development, and projected production rate of premixes in Russia will continue to grow.
 
According to Rosstat, December 2011 production of premixes in Russia has amounted to 13,900 tones, an increase of 6.1% over November 2011 production, and is 1.8 times higher than in December 2010 premix production.
