In January 2014, Russia produced only about 15 thousand tonnes of premixes, which is 25% lower than in December 2013, according to Russian media Soya News. The report says that the production of all types of premixes has dropped significantly.
Particularly in January 2014, Russia produced only 8.9 tonnes of premixes for poultry – 26% less than in the previous month, and 9% more than in January of last year.
At the beginning of this year Russia produced 3.4 tonnes of premixes for pigs – 25% less than the during December of 2013 and 10% more than in January of the last year.
