Pan Kurchak, Ukraine agro-industrial group, primarily focuses on poultry production, but this year plans to increase feed production at its two plants by 18%, compare to 2014, up to 100,000 tonnes, according to a recent company report.
It is reported that the increase of production capacities will be achieved through the modernisation of the company’s 2 feed mills. This was achieved with the participation of the German company Evonik. Pan Kurchak has cooperated with Evonik already for several years.
The expansion of the feed production division follows the commissioning of the new poultry production capacities. It is reported that Pan Kurchak recently completed the construction of 10 additional poultry houses in the village Holopichi of the Volyn Oblast.
The commissioning of these enterprises boosted the overall capacity of the poultry division to 1.85 million heads of chicken of simultaneous keeping. It is also reported that the additional feed production will be supplied to the market, in a wide range of packages.
“At the request of the customer feed production can be supplied in bulk, which is useful for farms that use technology of intensive fattening of animals and birds, or package it in paper and polypropylene bags of 2, 10, 25 and 40 kg for small buyers,” said the representatives of the company.
