The production volume of fishmeal in Russia varies greatly depending on the season, reports Russian SoyaNews, referring to official statistics.
In June 2015, Russia produced 6,500 tonnes of fishmeal – 1.46 times more than in the previous month, and 1.51 times more than in June 2014. At the same time in the first half of 2015, Russia produced 20.3% more fishmeal than in the same period in 2014.
In 2014, the volume of fishmeal production in the country has decreased, but the forecast for 2015 says that this year Russia will most likely see a rise in its production, mostly due to growing demand from the major livestock producers.
