Monsanto has recently appointed a new director of technology development in Ukraine and Russia.
Chandler Mazur has been appointed to manage the process of training sales professionals about the advanced technologies and will manage the process of providing customers with information about the range of products and future developments of Monsanto.
Previously he held the position of manager of the Technology Development.
“Chandler Mazur will also develop the test network of technology Fieldscripts in Ukraine and will manage the development of algorithms of Fieldscripts for the Ukrainian market”, reported Monsanto.
Fieldscripts combines innovative solutions of seed production, agronomy, data analysis and precision farming and let to calculate recommendations on the selection of corn hybrids and seeding density for each area of the field.
“Selection achievements already allow us to offer to the local farmers a wide range of corn and canola hybrids Dekalb adapted to conditions of different regions of Ukraine” said the new director.
However, he said, agricultural technology develops rapidly, and Monsanto already offers its customers – both farmers and large agricultural companies – not only quality seeds, but also complex agro-technical solutions.
