Feed composition can differ from batch to batch, depending on feed stuff availability. But even with a stable supply, there can be a noteworthy variability within the one ingredient.

According to Janet, starch and protein levels vary from breed to breed and from region to region as well as under the influence of growing conditions. For consistent animal performance it is of the utmost importance that the nutritionist takes in account all the variables, takes samples and adapt the feed composition accordingly.
