AB Vista is keen to further the debate on the role of phytase in pig and poultry diets. The inclusion of phytase not only improves the availability and absorption of phosphorus from feed, with benefits for animal performance and productivity, but also reduces the impact of excreted phosphate on the environment.
At the June event, internationally renowned scientists will present six papers on phosphorus nutrition. Between them they will address – among other related topics – the benefits of microbial and intrinsic phytase for poultry, and the digestion, absorption and metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in pigs.
Dr. Rob ten Doeschate, Technical Director of AB Vista in EMEA said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring a symposium that helps advance the understanding of an important subject, and demonstrates the benefits of a more efficient use of phosphorus in animal diets.”
Registration for the symposium is open until 11 June. To find out more, call Wilma Harlaar on +31 (0)320 293 326.
