ABB Grain Ltd in Australia gained accreditation from Wheat Export Australia (WEA) and is now ready to start exporting bulk wheat.

WEA on Friday announced the accreditation of another six bulk wheat
exporters, taking to 11 the total number of accreditations granted since the
bulk wheat export market was deregulated on July 1.The latest exporters to be
accredited are ABB Grain Ltd, Concordia Agritrading (Australia) Pty Ltd,
Glencore Grain Pty Ltd, GrainCorp Ltd, Louis Dreyfus Australia Pty Ltd and
Marubeni Australia Ltd.

ABB managing director Michael Iwaniw said ABB was
delighted to receive export accreditation and was “ready to roll” after months
of planning, and shipping wheat in containers to international customers. “This
is terrific news and opens up a new era for our company but, importantly,
enormous opportunities for Australian wheat growers,” Mr Iwaniw
said.
