Spaces president Marcel Denieul welcomed Dutch ambassador Ed Kronenburg and his delegation to Space to celebrate French-Dutch cooperation in the agro sector.
While touring the fairgrounds the ambassador was introduced to a number of French companies doing business in the Netherlands and vice versa.
The Dutch exhibitioners group was the second largest at Space, after the French and Germans. Ambassador Kronenburg said he was really impressed what he saw at Space: “It’s overwhelming and very varied. I saw a huge pallet of hardware, software and animals on display. With more than 60 Dutch firms on the fair this is the place to do business as well. As an ambassador it is my task to stimulate trade via economic diplomacy. There are a lot of opportunities for both countries, in trade, but also in exchange in knowledge. With the INRA institute France is unique, with Wageningen University the Netherlands have.”
Both Denieul and Kronenburg saw great potential, in part already brought into practice by the exhibitioners.
