The acquisition includes all of Sanimax’s rendering, grease collection and trap servicing business in the states of Indiana and Ohio.
In addition,
Darling acquired certain of Sanimax’s collection routes in Pennsylvania and the lower part of Michigan.

It recycles used restaurant cooking oil and byproducts from the beef, pork and poultry processing industries into useable products such as tallow, feed-grade fats, meat and bone meal and hides.
