Effects of diet on manure composition

Decreasing dietary phosphorus (p) has the potential to reduce p excreted in manure and therefore alleviate the environmental damage associated with intensive animal farming. Continuous research is being conducted to get a clear understanding what effect diet composition has on manure output and composition. Here we summarise several studies.
