EU clears Dutch ForFarmers to buy supplier Cefetra
Dutch agricultural company ForFarmers received the go-ahead from European Union antitrust authorities on Thursday to acquire Dutch raw material supplier Cefetra.
The executive European Commission said in a statement the merger would not distort competition in the 27-nation bloc.
ForFarmers produces and sells animal feed, fertilisers, pesticides and seeds to farmers in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Cefetra BV supplies raw materials to the feed, food and fuel industries.
