FMS broaden portfolio with Windows 8

Further solidifying its commitment to support new technology environments, Feed Management Systems, (FMS) announced recently that its solutions portfolio is designed for Windows 8, the new operating system from Microsoft which is now available.

“We are very excited about the possibilities that Windows 8 creates for our animal feed and nutrition customers,” said Duey Yliniemi, vice president of Product Strategy and Development for FMS. “Windows has always enabled enhanced productivity for our customers and today, Windows 8 takes this to an entirely new level through its new user experience and interactive Start screen.”

According to Paul Steen, business development manager, ISV Team for Microsoft, “Windows 8 optimises the potential of FMS applications to deliver easier data incorporation and accessibility as well as personalisation to its global customer base. We’re delighted to be working with FMS to make these advances possible,” Steen said.

The solutions offered by FMS have been recognised as powerful tools that enable feed organisations to connect with the information, people, tools and knowledge they need to increase their productivity, customer loyalty and profitability.  Windows 8 puts many of these goals in closer reach for the global feed and nutrition industry. FMS is a Microsoft ERP Silver Partner and ISV Gold Partner.
