Full operation resumed at Alimet facility

Novus International Inc., announced that its ALIMET® production facility in Chocolate Bayou, Texas has returned to full operation. The facility was shutdown as a precaution to the approach of Hurricane Ike and remained closed awaiting the restoration of various public utility and transportation infrastructures.

“Novus product inventory is distributed throughout the world, which protects
our customers from supply disruptions in the case of an extraordinary event,
such as Hurricane Ike,” stated Giovanni Gasperoni, Executive Vice President,
Marketing and Sales, Novus International, Inc. Novus has more than 25 offices
around the world, and serves customers in over 85 countries.

“We are
grateful that all of our employees made it safely through Ike and our thoughts
are with those who suffered significant damage as a result of this storm,”
stated Thad Simons, President and CEO, Novus International Inc. “We are thankful
to the people who worked tirelessly to restore the valuable public
infrastructures that are critical to our business.” 

To support the
recovery of the Gulf Region in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, Novus
International made a monetary contribution to the disaster relief effort.
