Australian Grain handler GrainCorp says site specific protocols will be in place at two northern Victorian receival sites that are destined to take genetically modified (GM) canola.
GrainCorp’s David Ginns
says special measures will ensure there is no contamination of conventional
grain, with GM canola. “We can create a dedicated path and specific protocols
for receival testing, storage and out turn of GM canola and that’s a commitment
that we’ve made,” he said. “We will be following through on that commitment this
season.”
