The new office will also house the 125-year-old Tulare business’ information technology and human resources departments.
The move was made after the company joined with Land O’Lakes in the Golden State Feed and Grain venture.
Additional space for new employees resulting from the venture, and a need for conference rooms, prompted the move.
These departments were formerly located at the same location where the company’s original mill, office and feed storage facilities remain.
J.D. Heiskell & Co. was established in 1886 and is a privately held company that manages grain and commodity training, as well as livestock feed manufacturing in eight states.
It trades grain and commodities throughout the western United States, Mexico and the Pacific Rim countries.
