To support the future generation of animal agriculture, Lallemand Animal Nutrition is now introducing the Lallemand Forward Scholarship Programme in North America.
In the programme, four US$2,500 undergraduate scholarships and one US$3,000 graduate scholarship will be awarded to outstanding agriculture students studying in the US, Mexico or Canada.
“The Lallemand Forward Scholarship was initiated to recognise agriculture students who are excelling at the graduate and undergraduate levels,” Lallemand Animal Nutrition North America commercial director Jeff Ast said. “Lallemand supports the advancement of animal nutrition’s current and future generations. This is an exciting opportunity to advance the knowledge and resources of tomorrow’s scientists and leaders.”
Undergraduate students who hold junior status or higher and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale are asked to submit a resume, along with a 500-word essay describing their future goals as they relate to their role in their chosen agricultural field. Graduate students, who are enrolled in an agricultural master’s program and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, are asked to submit a synopsis of their current graduate work/project, along with their resume.
