Menu Foods increases price wet pet food

01-02-2008 | |

Menu Foods Income Fund has raised the price on its wet pet food sold to its private-label customers.

The company said Thursday the increase is
expected to increase its total annualized sales by more than 3%.

“While costs
continue to rise, the price increase will enable Menu to recover, from
private-label customers, the cost increases it would otherwise be required to
absorb,” the company said.

Menu makes wet pet food products sold by
supermarkets, mass merchandisers, pet specialty retailers and other retail and
wholesale outlets.
