Nicotinic acid in poultry nutrition

Nicotinic acid, or niacin, is an often forgotten vitamin in poultry nutrition. As birds’ genetic potential increases, it seems that we need to re-evaluate the levels supplemented in diets, with respect to species, production parameter and basal ingredients of the diet.
