NOREL-MISR gets ISO Certification

27-01-2009 | |

NOREL-MISR obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification. This certificate is just the beginning of a long series of enhancements to the quality of our products, serving our customers to their full satisfaction and also developing all our employees’ skills” said Hani Kamel, General Manager of NORELMISR.

Founded in 2002, NOREL-MISR (MISR in Arabic language means EGYPT) is located in Egypt on the north of the Gulf of Suez, and at the south entrance of the Suez Canal. This gives us a strategic location for the import of palm fatty acid distillates (mostly from Malaysia) and the ability to easily reach the Middle Eastern and African markets, as well as the eastern Mediterranean countries.

Currently, NOREL-MISR produces calcium salts of palm fatty acids, feed additives, and pharmaceuticals for animal health. In late 2007, NORELMISR obtained the GMP certification for animal health pharmaceuticals, for which a separate manufacturing building and its laboratory are dedicated.
