The Mayor of Reus, Lluís Miquel Pérez, the President of Tecnoparc Reus, Àngel Cunillera, and the President of Novus International, Thad Simons, have signed an agreement to install in the Business Centre for Innovation and Development (Cepid) Tecnoparc the first centre of research and development of the multinational outside their country of origin.
The operational base will work not only as a centre of services for business customers in Europe, but also in the Middle East and Africa.
Novus International, which is headquartered in St. Louis (Missouri-USA) is dedicated to the development of a diversified portfolio of health products and animal feed for the poultry, swine, beef cattle, dairy cattle, fish and pets.
More multinationals have discovered Cepid Technoparc as an opportunity to open markets and be able to comply with standards and requirements of European food and feed legislation.
In recent months, other businesses have confirmed their interest in locating at Cepid such as the leading pharmaceutical group in Mexico, Laboratorios Silanes, and a major food multinational in Colombia, Alpina.
