Nutreco sells French feed part to Evialis
Nutreco Holding N.V. today announces the completion of the sale of its French Trouw Nutrition feed specialities business to the Evialis group in France.
transaction on 11 September 2006. The price of the sale of this small animal
feed operation in France was not disclosed.
For the time being, Evialis will make use of the Trouw
Nutrition production facility at Vigny in France. Nutreco will keep ownership of
the Vigny facility.
The takeover of the Trouw Nutrition France will
contribute €15 million to Evialis’ turnover.
Evialis is active in
expanding its business. Recently it came to an agreement with Group Agricola
International Bacau in Romania to form a joint venture where Evialis will be the
majority stake holder for the sale of feed products. This newly created company
will allow in the short run to double the size of the activities in this
country.
Lastly, the Group finalizes the redeployment of its Chinese
subsidiary company of premixes, based
in the province of Shandong. Evialis announced that other project developments in the
fields of premixes and food are on hand.
