People: Dr Eckel appoints new head of supply chain
As of 1st November, Ing.-agr. Cristian Cordts (38), will be responsible for Supply Chain Management at Dr. Eckel.
After studying agricultural science with a focus on animal production at the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel, Cordts worked for H Wilhelm Schaumann GmbH, in the area of product management for pigs and poultry.
In 2003 he became manager of a medium sized company in the food sector in Northern Germany. During this time he was responsible for a variety of engineering positions within the company including process development, supply chain management and customer support. Until 2012 he also managed his own part-time agricultural holding.
During his spare time Cordts likes to spend time with his family on the football pitch. He also enjoys nature while following his passion for hunting.
