A well recognized nutrition expert with a broad international experience, David combines scientific and field expertise of monogastric nutrition.
He will overview the company’s monogastric applied research and development, will liaise with scientific partners around the world, and be the company’s spokesperson at international nutrition conferences and congresses.
David Guillou graduated from Rennes Agricultural College – Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Rennes- (MSc equivalent).
After starting his career with INRA, the French National Agronomical Research Institute, producing equations to predict pig growth in the team of Drs. Jean Noblet and Jean-Yves Dourmad, David continued his career as a pig nutritionist at the French Union of Agricultural coops (UCAAB, Union des Coopératives Agricoles d’Alimentation du Bétail).
He later became responsible for pig and poultry research at INZO. David set up, managed and published trials conducted in the research centres of INZO and CRF (Cooperative Research Farm, along with companies from USA, Canada and the Netherlands).
He also coordinated the Swine Research Team for three years. Moreover, he has gained hands-on experience of the Spanish, Italian and Hungarian pig production systems, through INZO local branches.
