Price increase for methylamines and derivatives in Europe
With immediate effect, BASF is increasing the sales prices for methylamines and key methylamine derivatives in Europe.
The new prices will be:
Monomethylamine (MMA) + 60 €/t
Dimethylamine (DMA) + 90 €/t
Trimethylamine (TMA) + 100 €/t
Dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) + 90 €/t
Dimethylformamide (DMF) + 60 €/t
Dimethyethanolamine (DMEOA) + 70 €/t
Methyldiethanolamine (MDEOA) + 80 €/t
Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) + 50 €/t
The price increase shall apply to current supply agreements as soon and as far as allowed under their terms and conditions. Methylamines are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment, personal care and feed additives. Dimethylformamide is a versatile organic solvent for many applications. Dimethylethanolamine serves as a key raw material for water treatment chemicals. Methyldiethanolamines have proved effective in gas treatment systems.
