Organic acids are among the forerunners in the race against a decline in productivity stimulated by removing antibiotic growth promoters from animal rations. Their benefits for pigs and broilers appear to stem from action on intestinal function and morphology. Blending acids also affords a synergy which single-acid products cannot.
