Researchers complete DNA quest soybean
US scientists have finished unravelling the genetic make up of the soy bean. The project was initiated by the Ministry of Energy and involved €15 million.
After rice, soy has now been the second crop of which
the DNA make up is fully known. This is important for companies involved in the
genetically modification of soy.
