Skretting temporarily closes fish feed plant

Skretting Chile has shutdown its plant in Pargua, one of the three Skretting plants in Chile for maintaince. The company therefore temporarily concentrates its fish feed production at its other two plants in Chile.

The current shutdown of the plant will be extended until the Chilean farming
industry has recovered from the impact of the current salmon disease outbreaks.
This measure will affect approximately 50 employees in Chile.

The salmon
farming industry in Chile is cooperating with the Chilean authorities to improve
conditions at farming sites, which is expected to lead to a gradual recovery of
salmon production.
