Sweet Manufacturing gains export award

Sweet Manufacturing Company has been selected by Ohio’s Governor Ted Strickland to receive the 2009 Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Award. This is Sweet’s 3rd time to have received this prestigious recognition – 1998, 2005 and now 2009.

Since 1986 the Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Awards have recognized companies and organizations of all sizes that have shown superior performance in exporting or heightened awareness of exporting as a vital component of Ohio’s economy.

Alicia Sweet Hupp, CEO of Sweet Manufacturing, comments “We are so excited and proud to be selected a 3rd time for this great award. This recognition would not have been possible without the efforts of all the Sweet employees.

“I am so proud of the teamwork, cooperation and hard work that was necessary to accomplish such great results. This recognition certainly reinforces our commitment to our long term vision to be the world’s first choice provider of material handling equipment.”
