The Victam Awards
This year is going to be an exiting year for the feed industry. Not only will the high volatility of raw material prices induce new opportunities for use of other feedstuffs and processing technologies, but also the upcoming Victam International show in Cologne, Germany in May can be a showcase for the feed industry.
As has become a tradition AllAboutFeed in association with Victam International will once again present the popular Victam Innovation Awards in May 2011. These awards will be granted to the most striking innovations on show at FIAAP (feed ingredients) & Victam International 2011 (feed processing technology).
From here I would like to invite exhibiting companies to enter their innovation in this competition. An independent (international) jury will judge the entries on their relevance and value to the feed industry.
All nominations will be published in a special edition of AllAboutFeed dedicated to Victam International 2011. This special issue is distributed throughout a readership of over 18,000 selected subscribers who are involved within the animal feed sector and related industries. Nominations and winners will also be published on this website.
All entries are subject to the utmost confidentially until publication of the special show edition (March 2011).
To participate in this contest the innovation or new product has to:
· be introduced to the market after 1 January 2009
· be really new
· be a contribution to the industry
· be of high practical value
· be actually present at the show
