21-11-2006 | |

After clocking 10 years of existence in Zambia, Tiger Animal feeds now plans to extend its services of promoting the agriculture sector to the rest of the African continent.

To extend the services to the rest of the continent,
Tiger will soon launch new products that will make farming easier, establish
markets for farmers and improve their distribution network.

Renowned supplier of feedstocks
Having been initiated in 1996 in Zambia, the organisation
started as a small entity, but it has now become the most renowned supplier of
quality stock feeds to the Zambian farming community as well as providing free
technical advice and assistance. Tiger Animal Feeds chief operating officer in
charge of Africa Roedolf Steenkamp attributes the company’ success to the
customer’s confidence and the passion the staff have for their work, adding that
it is also created around the stability in the country because Zambia is the
most peaceful in the region. Apart from this, Tiger has a strong distribution network throughout Zambia as
there are 56 outlets with intentions of increasing them countrywide as well
as other countries like Tanzania and Mozambique.
