Venkys to distribute Lallemand products in India

Venkateshwara Hatcheries (VH) Group, the largest national poultry producer in India, has entered a distribution and co-development program with probiotic and yeast derivatives producer Lallemand Animal Nutrition.

Under the terms of the new agreement, the VH Group will represent the Lallemand range of poultry nutritional and health solutions, and co-development initiatives will be engaged, aiming at further adapting the Lallemand offer to specific geographical conditions in the South Asian region.
 
Dr Pradip Linge, a veterinarian specialized in poultry production will be the representative in India of Lallemand Animal Nutrition, as Area Manager for India, South Asia and the South-East Asian countries.
 
The partnership was introduced during the last Venkateshwara Hatcheries associate conference in Pune. Dr Pascal Raoul, General Manager for Lallemand Animal Nutrition had the opportunity to present his company and its products and give an overview of the probiotic concept and benefits for poultry farms to around 600 delegates.
 
The VH Group is the largest fully integrated poultry group in Asia and offers under one roof, total support for poultry development. The group’s greatest success has been its ability to indigenize the Babcock (layer) and Cobb (broiler) breeds, while maintaining world standards in productivity and performance.
 
Lallemand, Inc. is a privately owned Canadian company specialized in yeast, bacteria and yeast derivatives, for animal nutrition, baking, winemaking and pharmaceutical industries. Lallemand is the only major supplier of yeast and bacteria that is a primary producer of both.
