The first day of FIAAP Asia, Victam Asia and GRAPAS Asia 2014 has been officially opened with the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony. A record 200 international exhibitors are present will be present this year!
Next to André Oosterveld, president of Victam International, the presidents of the Thai feed mill association, rice packager association and rice mill association took the honour of opening the Victam, Fiaap and Grapas Asia at the Bitec Exhibition Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mr. Pornsil Patchrintanakul (pictured), president of the Thai feed mill association explained in his speech during the opening ceremony that the feed sector is entering a new era. “All countries are heading to one direction and more agreements are being made regarding labour, trade, etc. In addition, safety of feed and food becomes even a more prominent issue. To ensure safety we need technology and investment of the whole value chain”, Patchrintanakul explained.
Victam Asia 2014 is traditionally opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony. After this, the doors to the exhibition were opened and visitors from all over the world poured in.
In 2012, nearly 6,200 visitors entered the Bitec exhibition centre on the three days of the exhibition. This year, 200 exhibitors are present, more than in 2012.
