VIV China 2014, held at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC) in Beijing, China kicked off on Tuesday. Many visitors from around the world gathered in the three exhibition halls, full of innovations for the pig, poultry and aqua industry. About a third of the visitors in the three-day show are expected to come from outside China. Emphasis will be on top-level production, stated VIV market manager Ruwan Berculo. Pig equipment companies took a large share of the exhibition space, showcasing many feed and housing equipment systems. Also many Chinese producers of yeast based additives, enzymes and probiotics were present. Some Chinese exhibitors still have China as their main market, but tides are turning and feed ingredients are more often exported to the US and European markets. In this photo gallery we highlight a few innovations and companies that caught our eye. VIV China will be held until Thursday, September 25.
