ABN new weaner range supports digestive health and reduces medication costs
British pig and poultry feed manufacturer ABN reports that the latest product developments across its ABN Delta Nutrio pig range are showing promising dual benefits of maintaining performance and reducing medication costs and impacts, following the phasing out of zinc from pig starter diets. It began developing and trialling a range of 4 diets, lower in protein and kinder on the digestive system of pigs. Trials have gone well and the results have started to be replicated with on-farm/commercial trials currently underway.
Veos Group acquires OvaInnovations’ operations
Veos Group has acquired the activities of OvaInnovations, a US-based producer of inedible egg powder. The company’s Actipro brand, known for functional proteins that promote animal health and nutrition, will benefit, specifically, and can increase production efficiency and expand its offerings to feed and pet food clients.
Miavit opens factory in Turkey
Miavit, which entered the Turkish market in 2016, has announced the opening of its new premix production facility in Kemalpaşa, İzmir. The new factory, which is equipped with advanced German technology, will allow the company to better serve its customers in the country by ensuring faster delivery times and stronger customer proximity. The new factory will serve as a strategic hub for exports to neighboring countries, Turkic States and the Middle East.
