During the Virtual All About Feed Forum on May 27, Dr Hannah van Zanten, assistant professor at Animal Production Systems at Wageningen University & Research, will dive into the topic of circular agrofood systems.
To establish a more sustainable food system, animals are more and more fed with left over streams. Van Zanten emphasises the importance of using human-inedible-sources as livestock feed instead of feeding animals with products that are edible for humans. In her presentation at the Virtual Forum she will elaborate on this topic based on the research she has done in recent years.
